The Author

I'm Kevin Rathbun, a builder based in New York City. Right now I'm a lead software engineer at Justworks building unified access and identity for the HR platform.

Previously I was leading a team of engineers at Electric AI to optimize developer operations. Before that I was developing an adaptive education platform at Knewton.

I studied computer science and math at the University at Buffalo. At UB I assisted in research on matrix multiplication algorithms and networking. I also conducted research at RIT on eye fixation patterns and authored a paper that was published in the Journal on Technology and Persons with Disabilities.
